About Beyond the search
“Beyond the Search” is an exciting new media evangelistic resource that presents the Gospel message in a way that is intriguing and inspiring, without compromising on quality or the message. “Beyond the Search” brings viewers into a deeper connection with God. The original “Search” DVD series, produced over a decade ago, was a ground-breaking production that combined mass media promotion (TV and letterbox advertising campaigns) with local church involvement to engage viewers on a life-changing journey of discovery. In Australia and New Zealand,
“Search” was the most successful evangelistic effort in the last 10 years. Building on this successful past, “Beyond the Search” has even more to offer, with new resources and a comprehensive strategy, “Beyond the Search” has the potential for our church to make an impact on secular society more than any other project to date.

DVD EVANGELISM
“Beyond the Search” will succeed through developing engagement. The first feature focuses on the major issues of our day such as globalism, environment and problems in our society. We expose the real story behind these issues and reveal what is perhaps the last piece of hope.
This episode is widely promoted using TV and other mass media channels. Audiences are invited to receive a free viewing of the DVD. These are delivered personally by local church members who continue to connect and engage by offering subsequent videos in the series. This simple but highly effective process has been a major source of church growth.
The FEATURE episodes are hosted by Geoff Youlden, from the original “Search” series, who is assisted by presenters Johnny Murison and Dannielle Synot. These presenters focus on connecting with the audience through three unique angles:
Geoff – He will appeal to people looking for wisdom through intellect and knowledge.
Johnny – His sense of adventure, Indigenous heritage and willingness to “give it a go” will earn trust.
Danielle – Her emotional connection will resonate with people.
The EXPLORE episodes are presented by evangelists James Toogood, Peter
Watts and James Venagas and are Bible-based studies on the feature topic.
